For this evaluation, I slept on the Saatva Classic…See How Saatva Make It Matress …the Loom & Leaf, and the Zenhaven bed mattress for a number of weeks in my own home. These bed mattress were likewise assessed in our group tests performed for Wirecutter’s guides to the best foam bed mattress and the best innerspring bed mattress. As Wirecutter’s senior personnel author for sleep, I’ve interviewed ratings of experts in the mattress industry and in products science; visited dozens of bed mattress stores, display rooms, and factories; and pored over the fine print on specifications, guarantees, and return policies. Most recently, supervising editor Courtney Schley assessed the Saatva Latex Hybrid in her home for several weeks.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g10ThFEgbwIUnderstanding Saatva Saatva’s portfolio of beds– many with a choice of firmness levels and catering to nearly every comfort choice– consists of: Saatva Classic ( innerspring).
Loom & Leaf ( all foam).
Zenhaven ( all latex).
Saatva Latex Hybrid ( latex with coils).
Solaire ( a bed with adjustable air chambers). See How Saatva Make It Matress
Saatva HD ( a latex-coil hybrid developed for sleepers who weigh 300 to 500 pounds).
Saatva Youth ( a foam-coil hybrid for kids ages 3 through 12).https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B3MBUU1VXos

We have not yet done a deep dive into the “natural” claims of Saatva or of other “environmentally friendly” brand names. However we do understand that the company uses thistle pulp or organic wool as a flame retardant (rather than chemicals or fiberglass) and just natural cotton (instead of artificial blends) in its covers. As do other online mattress companies, Saatva promotes such bonus as zoned layers for “optimal spine assistance”; we’re less pleased with those functions and more appreciative of Saatva’s responsive client service and resilient foams and coils.
