For this review, I slept on the Saatva Classic…Saatva Weight Limit …the Loom & Leaf, and the Zenhaven bed mattress for a number of weeks in my own house. These mattresses were likewise examined in our group tests carried out for Wirecutter’s guides to the finest foam bed mattress and the finest innerspring mattresses. As Wirecutter’s senior personnel author for sleep, I have actually spoken with scores of specialists in the bed mattress industry and in products science; visited dozens of mattress factories, display rooms, and shops; and read the fine print on specs, guarantees, and return policies. Most recently, monitoring editor Courtney Schley examined the Saatva Latex Hybrid in her house for a number of weeks.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g10ThFEgbwIUnderstanding Saatva Saatva’s portfolio of beds– numerous with an option of firmness levels and dealing with practically every comfort choice– consists of: Saatva Classic ( innerspring).
Loom & Leaf ( all foam).
Zenhaven ( all latex).
Saatva Latex Hybrid ( latex with coils).
Solaire ( a bed with adjustable air chambers). Saatva Weight Limit
Saatva HD ( a latex-coil hybrid designed for sleepers who weigh 300 to 500 pounds).
Saatva Youth ( a foam-coil hybrid for kids ages 3 through 12).https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B3MBUU1VXos
We haven’t yet done a deep dive into the “natural” claims of Saatva or of other “environment-friendly” brands. But we do understand that the company utilizes thistle pulp or natural wool as a flame retardant (rather than chemicals or fiberglass) and just organic cotton (instead of artificial blends) in its covers. As do other online bed mattress companies, Saatva touts such bonus as zoned layers for “optimum spine support”; we’re less impressed with those features and more appreciative of Saatva’s responsive customer care and resilient foams and coils.
