For this evaluation, I slept on the Saatva Classic…Saatva Pillow Mattress Topper …the Loom & Leaf, and the Zenhaven mattresses for a number of weeks in my own home. These bed mattress were also assessed in our group tests carried out for Wirecutter’s guides to the best foam mattresses and the finest innerspring bed mattress. As Wirecutter’s senior staff writer for sleep, I have actually interviewed ratings of specialists in the mattress industry and in materials science; visited lots of mattress factories, shops, and showrooms; and read the small print on specifications, warranties, and return policies. Most just recently, monitoring editor Courtney Schley examined the Saatva Latex Hybrid in her house for several weeks.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g10ThFEgbwIMaking sense of Saatva Saatva’s portfolio of beds– many with an option of firmness levels and catering to practically every comfort preference– consists of: Saatva Classic ( innerspring).

We haven’t yet done a deep dive into the “natural” claims of Saatva or of other “environmentally friendly” brands. We do understand that the business utilizes thistle pulp or natural wool as a flame retardant (as opposed to fiberglass or chemicals) and just natural cotton (instead of artificial blends) in its covers. As do other online bed mattress business, Saatva promotes such extras as zoned layers for “optimum spinal column assistance”; we’re less amazed with those functions and more appreciative of Saatva’s responsive client service and durable foams and coils.
