For this review, I slept on the Saatva Classic…Saatva Mattress Stomach Sleeper …the Loom & Leaf, and the Zenhaven mattresses for a number of weeks in my own home. These mattresses were likewise assessed in our group tests carried out for Wirecutter’s guides to the finest foam bed mattress and the best innerspring mattresses. As Wirecutter’s senior staff author for sleep, I’ve spoken with ratings of specialists in the bed mattress industry and in materials science; checked out dozens of bed mattress display rooms, factories, and stores; and pored over the fine print on specs, guarantees, and return policies. Most just recently, monitoring editor Courtney Schley assessed the Saatva Latex Hybrid in her house for several weeks.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g10ThFEgbwIMaking sense of Saatva Saatva’s portfolio of beds– numerous with a choice of firmness levels and catering to almost every convenience preference– includes: Saatva Classic ( innerspring).
Loom & Leaf ( all foam).
Zenhaven ( all latex).
Saatva Latex Hybrid ( latex with coils).
Solaire ( a bed with adjustable air chambers). Saatva Mattress Stomach Sleeper
Saatva HD ( a latex-coil hybrid created for sleepers who weigh 300 to 500 pounds).
Saatva Youth ( a foam-coil hybrid for kids ages 3 through 12).https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B3MBUU1VXos
We haven’t yet done a deep dive into the “natural” claims of Saatva or of other “environmentally friendly” brand names. However we do understand that the business utilizes thistle pulp or organic wool as a flame retardant (rather than chemicals or fiberglass) and just organic cotton (instead of synthetic blends) in its covers. As do other online mattress companies, Saatva touts such extras as zoned layers for “optimum spine support”; we’re less impressed with those functions and more appreciative of Saatva’s responsive customer service and durable foams and coils.
