For this evaluation, I slept on the Saatva Classic…Saatva 14.5 Or 11.5 …the Loom & Leaf, and the Zenhaven bed mattress for numerous weeks in my own house. These bed mattress were also evaluated in our group tests conducted for Wirecutter’s guides to the best foam mattresses and the finest innerspring bed mattress. As Wirecutter’s senior staff writer for sleep, I have actually spoken with scores of experts in the mattress market and in materials science; checked out dozens of bed mattress shops, showrooms, and factories; and read the fine print on specs, warranties, and return policies. Most recently, monitoring editor Courtney Schley assessed the Saatva Latex Hybrid in her home for several weeks.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g10ThFEgbwIUnderstanding Saatva Saatva’s portfolio of beds– lots of with an option of firmness levels and catering to practically every convenience choice– includes: Saatva Classic ( innerspring).
Loom & Leaf ( all foam).
Zenhaven ( all latex).
Saatva Latex Hybrid ( latex with coils).
Solaire ( a bed with adjustable air chambers). Saatva 14.5 Or 11.5
Saatva HD ( a latex-coil hybrid created for sleepers who weigh 300 to 500 pounds).
Saatva Youth ( a foam-coil hybrid for kids ages 3 through 12).https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B3MBUU1VXos
We haven’t yet done a deep dive into the “natural” claims of Saatva or of other “eco-friendly” brand names. We do understand that the business uses thistle pulp or organic wool as a flame retardant (as opposed to chemicals or fiberglass) and just natural cotton (instead of artificial blends) in its covers. As do other online mattress business, Saatva touts such extras as zoned layers for “ideal spine assistance”; we’re less impressed with those functions and more appreciative of Saatva’s responsive customer service and long lasting foams and coils. Saatva 14.5 Or 11.5
