These bed mattress were also evaluated in our group tests performed for Wirecutter’s guides to the finest foam bed mattress and the finest innerspring mattresses. As Wirecutter’s senior staff writer for sleep, I’ve interviewed scores of specialists in the bed mattress market and in materials science; visited lots of mattress factories, showrooms, and stores; and read the fine print on requirements, warranties, and return policies. Most just recently, supervising editor Courtney Schley assessed the Saatva Latex Hybrid in her house for several weeks.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g10ThFEgbwIUnderstanding Saatva Saatva’s portfolio of beds– lots of with an option of firmness levels and catering to practically every comfort choice– includes: Saatva Classic ( innerspring).

We haven’t yet done a deep dive into the “natural” claims of Saatva or of other “environment-friendly” brands. We do know that the business uses thistle pulp or natural wool as a flame retardant (as opposed to chemicals or fiberglass) and only organic cotton (instead of artificial blends) in its covers. As do other online bed mattress business, Saatva promotes such bonus as zoned layers for “ideal spinal column assistance”; we’re less satisfied with those functions and more appreciative of Saatva’s responsive customer service and long lasting foams and coils.
