For this evaluation, I slept on the Saatva Classic…Experience With Saatva Mattress …the Loom & Leaf, and the Zenhaven bed mattress for numerous weeks in my own home. These bed mattress were also evaluated in our group tests conducted for Wirecutter’s guides to the best foam bed mattress and the best innerspring mattresses. As Wirecutter’s senior staff author for sleep, I have actually interviewed ratings of experts in the mattress market and in products science; visited lots of bed mattress shops, display rooms, and factories; and read the small print on specs, warranties, and return policies. Most recently, supervising editor Courtney Schley assessed the Saatva Latex Hybrid in her home for several weeks.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g10ThFEgbwIUnderstanding Saatva Saatva’s portfolio of beds– lots of with a choice of firmness levels and accommodating nearly every comfort preference– includes: Saatva Classic ( innerspring).
Loom & Leaf ( all foam).
Zenhaven ( all latex).
Saatva Latex Hybrid ( latex with coils).
Solaire ( a bed with adjustable air chambers). Experience With Saatva Mattress
Saatva HD ( a latex-coil hybrid created for sleepers who weigh 300 to 500 pounds).
Saatva Youth ( a foam-coil hybrid for kids ages 3 through 12).https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B3MBUU1VXos

We have not yet done a deep dive into the “natural” claims of Saatva or of other “environment-friendly” brand names. But we do know that the company uses thistle pulp or natural wool as a flame retardant (instead of fiberglass or chemicals) and just natural cotton (instead of artificial blends) in its covers. As do other online bed mattress companies, Saatva touts such extras as zoned layers for “optimal spinal column support”; we’re less amazed with those functions and more appreciative of Saatva’s responsive client service and long lasting foams and coils.
