For this evaluation, I slept on the Saatva Classic…Dream Serenity 3 Cool Breeze Memory Support Mattress Topper …the Loom & Leaf, and the Zenhaven mattresses for a number of weeks in my own home. These bed mattress were likewise evaluated in our group tests conducted for Wirecutter’s guides to the finest foam bed mattress and the best innerspring mattresses. As Wirecutter’s senior staff author for sleep, I’ve spoken with scores of experts in the mattress market and in products science; gone to dozens of bed mattress display rooms, shops, and factories; and read the fine print on requirements, service warranties, and return policies. Most just recently, supervising editor Courtney Schley examined the Saatva Latex Hybrid in her house for several weeks.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g10ThFEgbwIMaking sense of Saatva Saatva’s portfolio of beds– numerous with a choice of firmness levels and accommodating almost every comfort preference– consists of: Saatva Classic ( innerspring).

We haven’t yet done a deep dive into the “natural” claims of Saatva or of other “eco-friendly” brand names. But we do know that the company uses thistle pulp or natural wool as a flame retardant (rather than fiberglass or chemicals) and just natural cotton (instead of artificial blends) in its covers. As do other online bed mattress business, Saatva promotes such additionals as zoned layers for “ideal spine assistance”; we’re less pleased with those features and more appreciative of Saatva’s responsive customer support and resilient foams and coils.
