For this review, I slept on the Saatva Classic…Adjustable Saatva Mattress Review …the Loom & Leaf, and the Zenhaven mattresses for a number of weeks in my own house. These mattresses were also evaluated in our group tests performed for Wirecutter’s guides to the finest foam mattresses and the finest innerspring bed mattress. As Wirecutter’s senior personnel writer for sleep, I’ve spoken with ratings of specialists in the bed mattress market and in materials science; checked out lots of bed mattress shops, factories, and showrooms; and pored over the small print on specs, service warranties, and return policies. Most just recently, supervising editor Courtney Schley assessed the Saatva Latex Hybrid in her home for numerous weeks.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g10ThFEgbwIMaking sense of Saatva Saatva’s portfolio of beds– lots of with an option of firmness levels and accommodating practically every comfort preference– includes: Saatva Classic ( innerspring).
Loom & Leaf ( all foam).
Zenhaven ( all latex).
Saatva Latex Hybrid ( latex with coils).
Solaire ( a bed with adjustable air chambers). Adjustable Saatva Mattress Review
Saatva HD ( a latex-coil hybrid developed for sleepers who weigh 300 to 500 pounds).
Saatva Youth ( a foam-coil hybrid for kids ages 3 through 12).https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B3MBUU1VXos
We have not yet done a deep dive into the “natural” claims of Saatva or of other “environmentally friendly” brand names. We do understand that the business utilizes thistle pulp or organic wool as a flame retardant (as opposed to fiberglass or chemicals) and only organic cotton (instead of synthetic blends) in its covers. As do other online bed mattress business, Saatva touts such additionals as zoned layers for “optimal spine assistance”; we’re less satisfied with those functions and more appreciative of Saatva’s responsive client service and resilient foams and coils.
