For this review, I slept on the Saatva Classic…12Vs 14Matress …the Loom & Leaf, and the Zenhaven bed mattress for numerous weeks in my own home. These bed mattress were also examined in our group tests performed for Wirecutter’s guides to the best foam bed mattress and the best innerspring mattresses. As Wirecutter’s senior personnel author for sleep, I have actually talked to ratings of specialists in the mattress market and in products science; gone to lots of mattress factories, showrooms, and shops; and pored over the fine print on specifications, service warranties, and return policies. Most just recently, supervising editor Courtney Schley assessed the Saatva Latex Hybrid in her house for several weeks.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g10ThFEgbwIMaking sense of Saatva Saatva’s portfolio of beds– lots of with a choice of firmness levels and accommodating practically every convenience preference– includes: Saatva Classic ( innerspring).
Loom & Leaf ( all foam).
Zenhaven ( all latex).
Saatva Latex Hybrid ( latex with coils).
Solaire ( a bed with adjustable air chambers). 12Vs 14Matress
Saatva HD ( a latex-coil hybrid designed for sleepers who weigh 300 to 500 pounds).
Saatva Youth ( a foam-coil hybrid for kids ages 3 through 12).
We haven’t yet done a deep dive into the “natural” claims of Saatva or of other “environmentally friendly” brands. However we do know that the business uses thistle pulp or organic wool as a flame retardant (rather than fiberglass or chemicals) and only natural cotton (instead of artificial blends) in its covers. As do other online bed mattress companies, Saatva touts such extras as zoned layers for “ideal spinal column assistance”; we’re less pleased with those functions and more appreciative of Saatva’s responsive customer service and long lasting foams and coils. 12Vs 14Matress
